The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive and breakfast buffet was high quality offering a wide range of options with many locally sourced products . The grounds at the back of the property were attractive with a garden down to a river. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The only suggestion might be a kettle and tea and coffee in the room .

Our one-week holiday at Auberge de la Sélune was absolutely perfect. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. A true highlight of the property is the beautiful garden, which is the perfect spot to unwind. Patrice and Sandra are fantastic hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a perfect, quiet location that serves as an ideal base for exploring by car or bike during the day, while offering total relaxation in the evening. Thanks to wonderful personal suggestions from Patrice, we were able to easily explore the best of both Normandy and Brittany, including an unforgettable visit to the nearby Mont Saint-Michel. The culinary experience here was a major highlight of our trip. Every single meal at the restaurant was exceptional, showcasing fresh local ingredients and incredible flavours. The service was attentive, warm, and perfectly complemented the wonderful food. Auberge de la Sélune and its restaurant do not just offer a stay, they offer a truly unforgettable experience. It is a flawless combination of excellent accommodation, beautiful surroundings, and top-tier dining. We highly recommend this gem and cannot wait to return!

Great location with beautiful gardens right on the river. Efficient and attentive staff. Excellent parking. Excellent restaurant and food. Able to order drinks in the garden. Clean room with comfortable bed, linens and towels. Bedroom and bathroom a little small but served the purpose. Carpets and decor a little tired and could do with updating. Overall very nice stay and would recommend.

A memorable stay for all the right reasons!

We were there for a week half board. On checking in we were asked about any food issues and the menu reflected the wish for no mussels. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, including the Monday "tray meal". All the waiting staff and room cleaners were very polite and efficient. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and both spoke excellent English. The car was accommodated in their gated parking area with a clear sign indicating our slot. We couldn't wish for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This is a nice family owned property. We picked it because it was a 15 minute drive away from Mont San Michele. Parking was on site, secure and easy. The rooms and common areas of this property are dated but clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms appear remodeled and while they are small, they are extremely functional. The only major letdown for us was the terrible Wi-Fi speed and service interruptions constantly Unfortunately, we needed the Wi-Fi that evening, but could not use it at all. The real challenge with Expedia Reservations like this one is their app which they claim allows you to message the property however the message feature has not worked on this end of the properties we have booked during the day. They also provide the prop a bizarre and unattended Expedia email and not the guests personal email, which was a huge and vacation ruining experience Ing this day for us. We could not communicate with the property and the property had some restrictions regarding check-in time which were not reflected on The Expedia mobile app used to make the reservation. We are starting to lose our faith slowly in the Expedia and Hotels.com brands as their customer service has practically vanished.

Small room, nice garden for sitting by the river. Popped in 2 weeks previously to check out the restaurant, only one table taken, so we didn’t book- it appeared expensive with little choice so we decided to use a restaurant in the town that was good. Breakfast was good

Good little Auberge

Friendly service. Beautiful garden on the river. We should have stayed in for dinner as there is not much eating options near by. However in October some places only open a few days a week or close and take vacation.

Cozy family hotel & restauarent

If you are searching for a hotel with a personal touch that is your place :) It's a nice family hotel with really friendly personnel. The hotel has its own garden next to the river, where it is probably really nice to have a drink or a dinner in warmer months. The room has been renovated not too long ago and was quite cozy. The bed and linen were really comfortable. The bathroom, hallways and reception will need to be renovated in the future. Nevertheless, everything was super clean. The best thing about this hotel is their restaurant that has been renovated. Great ingredients, food, wine selection, and outstanding service.... It's really a MUST if you are staying there or if you are passing by.
