Recently refurbished and renovated as a chic bistro winebar and luxury accomodation - throughly enjoyed staying here; would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone - steep stairs to top most floor owing to the age of the building - only negative point .

Breakfast was very good, much better than other Champneys hotels we have stayed at. Room was nice but the TV unfortunately kept cutting out. Really friendly and helpful staff, and a luxury feel.

We visited Oddfellows to "make a weekend" of a friends Wedding. Having grown up in Cheadle myself it was great to see the property transformation. The entrance and room were stunning and the grounds/park are clean and cared for. Picnic breakfast is a nice idea (pastry, yoghurt, fruit juice and fruit) and when we forgot to place the order on our second night the hotel still scrambled together two last minute orders-the hangover really appreciated this! The attention to detail in each of the rooms (our family occupied 5 of the rooms) is amazing. Each is completely different but presented to a very high standard. We were wanting for nothing and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. A great place to stay in a great location.
