"We absolutely love this hotel, its so family friendly and has everything you need for a great holiday. My kids loved the pool, the breakfast was amazing with a lot of variety. This is our second time visiting this hotel and we would go again. Great loacation with many great walk and sights nearby."

"The room was ideal, clean and facilities great. The breakfast we had was a buffet style and was excellent,the area was well stocked. Afternoon and evening food was also of good quality as was the bar selection. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and dealt with any help we required. I would definetly stay in this Hotel again. "Just two nights at this perfectly located hotel with mature lovely gardens and country house features. Very convenient for Ullswater lake and walks. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We could not fault the reception, bar and dinning room team, they were great. The room we had was spacious and clean, with decoration and furniture in keeping with an old country house. The breakfasts and evening dinners were well presented and of high quality. Although we are retired, we could see the hotel as an excellent wedding venue. Overall, great value and we appreciated the unique and wonderful setting. "
