"An excellent stay once again in Lancaster House Hotel. The room we had was perfect for all the amenities in the hotel(room 10). It was very clean and an excellent bed 🛌 👌 we both had a great sleep. There were three lovely ladies at the reception that I did not get the names of, but they made my stay even better with their warm hospitality. The room – I was SO impressed, I had to walk back out again because I thought I was given a key for an upgraded room!! "Very good a-la-carte breakfast. Nice location, close to the old town and few minutes walk from the train station. Complementary, delicious cookies in the room. Charming hotel and bedrooms, one issue is that water was dropping in the bedroom from the ceiling, from time to time. I notified the reception so I hope they fixed the issue. "

"We stayed for 2 nights. Needed a dog friendly hotel and this ticked all the boxes. The grounds are beautiful and extensive. Waking up to half a dozen deer on the lawn was lovely. The family room was fantastic, the bathroom was very clean and looked newly renovated. The food is as all the reviews state. We enjoyed every single meal. We are already looking at booking another stay."
