"Fantastic base for the lake district. Staff were all really friendly. Site was quiet. No being woken up at night or in the morning. Leisure facilities were decent for a small site. My child had fun in the hour fun session they have in the pool. Crazy golf, ping pong, tennis and a playground for younger kids. The watersports centre is resonably priced. One of my children did kayaking and another the sofa jet ski type thing lots of fun had. The restaurant was nice enough, standard pub food and very decent prices. The lodges themselves were modern and had everything you would need. Only negative was the hairdryer set on fire and nearly singed my hair but reception apologetic. Dining table had crumbs on when we arrived so cleaned down but other than that really impressed and would definitely consider returning. "

"I decided to stay somewhere extra special with a pool for my girls on the way back home. We had a smooth check in then enjoyed a peaceful relaxing swim in the pool sadly the jacuzzi was broken but the pool was clean and great fun! We enjoyed a delicious dinner and my daughter enjoyed the children’s play area afterwards. The rooms were spacious and the staff quickly brought me up a travel cot without any problems. We enjoyed a comfortable sleep , a delicious breakfast and a morning swim before our journey back home to Scotland. I will definitely plan to stay here again on my next journey down south. Thank you.
