Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, very enjoyable reasonably priced evening meal. Excellent breakfast. The room on the top floor accessed by a steep staicase, was spacious and very clean, slight downside the mattress was a little tired. The location of the hotel was ideal very close to town centre. Tip. The restaurant is very popular so book a table in advance. Watch out for parking fines, paying by phone does not always work, one guest paid by phone and still got £100 worth of parking...

Renovation going on at the moment but this did not impact on our stay, except that the room we stayed in needed some tlc. I'm sure that the issues we raised with the lovely staff will be attended to. We were offered another room but were happy to stay with the minor issues.

Lovely stay in the isolated guest house, on the edge of snowdonia national park in travel distance of betws y coed, far enough to experience true rural Wales. Run perfectly by the two owners whom made us very welcome. Looking forward to return!

Upgraded to deluxe room! Absolutely lovely with huge bed and bedroom, jacuzzi in bath and his n hers bathrobes! Coffee making facilities. Gorgeous cooked breakfast with cereals and fruit too.

Mixed emotions about my stay at the Talardy Hotel. Unfortunately I was isolating because I was having cancer treatment and my wife and kids all had coughs and colds. So I booked the Talardy as it was very reasonably priced and around the corner from the hospital I was getting chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Hotel staff are so helpful and accommodating. We had a really great two night stay with our little dog. Nothing was too much trouble, our room was pretty and super clean and the food was excellent. We ate from the full breakfast buffet in the bar area so we could have our dog with us on both mornings and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the dining room on the first night. We will definitely be back. David and Elvira are fantastic hosts who ensure that your stay is very personal. The room we stayed in was very clean and perfect and had everything that we needed e.g tea, coffee and luxury bath products. The breakfast was excellent - couldn't eat everything as the portions were so large. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back!

A friendly welcome from the host. He went out of his way to book us an alternative evening meal and taxi as the restaurant was booked up that day. Room was as expected. Breakfast was good and a good choice available all with friendly service.

Nice quiet location, rooms nice not super luxury but high end. Very nice spa pool, lovely and warm and allow kids at certain hours only. The restaurant was good food but not very good service.

Location was a bit rural for us but otherwise couldn't fault it!

great place to stay before your climb to the peak! the route is right outside of the hostel. great overall stay and the breakfast in the morning was good, the only thing i would say is can get a little cold in the winter months and the noise by passing cars can be unsettling, apart from that the place was a great stay, thanks to all the staff.
