⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good stay all round. Staff were lovely, food was lovely and everything was spot on. The rooms are a little dated but very well maintained. For what you pay, you really can’t complain. Would definitely stay again.

2nd visit and was as expected , located in the town near bars and restaurants, friendly service, great breakfast and decent bar

Amazing hotel Nice pub

Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. We had breakfast (optional) which consisted of lots cold options, fresh fruits, juices cereals etc. Then a full range for any...

Booked for a couple of nights while visiting alton towers and found the place superb value. Food in restaurant good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also didn't add breakfast at the time of booking and when we asked to add for the 2 days when checking in the receptionist added for no extra charge. Would definitely and will be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

Fantastic stay and facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed out little hideaway. This place is a hidden gem and we definitely will be back. Only downfalls are the fact that it isn't advertised so well as this property has huge potential, gym is a little on the small side and it most definitely could do with a onsite restaurant for gain revenue for the place to maximise the income but it didnt effect our stay as we had all the facilities we needed in our lodge and planned on going out anyhow.

Absolutely amazing the room was just brill, the pool was so relaxing, the grounds were beautiful, staff were friendly and helpful, food was pricey but what do you expect with such an amazing place,we will defiantly be going back

The only issue was the position of the door stop in the room... my friend had stayed previously and pre warned me however I still stubbed my toe as it is located by the hangers where you get your clothes.... Other than that staff and facilities great ... shower gel could be improved ... Definitely stay again

Lovely staff and very clean room.

Stunning Hotel Spa, room was superb, every staff member was happy and had time for you. The Spa was a dwlight to yse with a decent hot sauna & Steam room, jacuzzi jets were wonderfully powerful & a lovely pool to swim in. The bar food was great & the resturant food the next day was very tasty. Was an absolutely pleasure to stay there, coulfnt failt it.

Lovely stay

We couldn’t have had a warmer welcome or to be made feel so valued as a guest. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. We had all of the amenities we needed and more besides. Breakfast was lovely and were offered top ups of hot drinks. Probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in a while!

Food was incredible. The views were beautiful. The rooms were modern, stylish and cosy. We loved sitting by the fire and the outside sauna!

Lovely stay, everything was clean, breakfast was great and will definitely stay here again

When arrived the check in was quick and easy to complete, the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel & room were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay. Many thanks.

It's been great Comfortable enough Not overly expensive Came the week before Christmas so Christmas activities on, which my 3 year old loved! We're vegan and they accommodated for us at breakfast All the staff have been super lovely. For us/the price, so much easier than coming to Thomasland last year We'd stay here again Do have to pay for car parking (we paid £7 for both nights) which isn't obvious.

We stayed at this hotel for a night stay ready for our polar express day at the nearby churnet railway station, we had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is absolutely lovely and the rooms are clean and tidy and very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant. Parking onsite was great and at only £5 Charge was really good, it's just nice to have a hotel that actually has parking facilities. The pool area was great the...
