"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. "We did not stay in apartment that we booked,but was given another apartment in same complex apartment 1.The apartment is in need of a deep clean, sockets and switches in kitchen have grease on them, plates etc felt greasy. Paint peeling from sealing, skirting boards full of dust as are radiator pipes. The Windows and mirrors were probably cleaned 3 years ago. Bathroom had sewer smell(i stopped this by installing the plug hole correctly) . Oven has never been cleaned as dust between the two...

"We were staying the night for a family wedding locally the next day. The room was OK but stayed in better Holiday Inn Express hotels. We always seems to have an issue trying to sort the air conditioning out which was too cold even though it was hot outside. As usual we always have to hunt for our glasses! to deal with the settings. We decided to eat a meal in the evening where breakfast is served. It’s not a very nice room & the menu didn’t offer much choice! It was just ok having just driven from Paignton! we were too tired to go out. When we checked in the lady on reception was very nice and helpful"

"Staff were lovely and helpful, as the building has such wonderful high ceilings i felt the cold at the night time so i told reception and bless him within 10 mins he was knocking at my door with a plug in heater for my rroom. The pool was lovely steam room was on point and the jacuzzi was fab. i know they building is old and it is kept beautifully although i really think bathrooms could do with updating and maybe the windows ESPECIALLY for the winter months as i was quite cold and it mild! rooms had new bottled water and milk and teas topped up put in every day new towels also. The only thing that i didnt like was it wasnt able to be my own choice if they come into the room or not, no lock box/safe in room for valuables and i think if there isnt any notice to put on the door to say if you want to have cleaners or privacy i think its somthing that should be considered. Overall i had a lovely few days out the way and some peace. Breakfast a little pricey but room prices were fair. i did leave some belongings in the room and i phoned up they said they were going to get back to me, i know 100% i left few things so hope they get back to me on here now ive messaged."
