"This hotel was so pleasant to be in and the staff was so helpful that we cancelled our night out in Brighton and ate there. The food was excellent. You pay more for a pint but it’s worth it for the surroundings and atmosphere. "

"Lovely stay, room a bit on the small side as we stayed last year also and had booked a queen room both times but this year was much smaller. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection to choose from. Ideal location opposite the beach and walking distance to restaurants etc. "

"The Old Ship is a lovely hotel. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. It was hot and too noisy to have the windows open but the room had a ceiling fan which was remarkably effective. The breakfast was lovely and my veggie dishes had to be ordered especially but came super quick. My only moan is that in the room we only had 4 teabags and 4 pots of milk. No herbal tea. "
