The position was very good being direct on to the beach with substantial seating available on the promenade.The manageress and all her staff were friendly,courteous,and helpful.The standard of the dining was of a very good standard.

Welcoming and cosy hotel in a great location overlooking the sea. We stayed as a family for one night and were greeted warmly, our room had lovely additional touches like extra mugs for the children and fudge in the treasure chest! We took the bus into Brighton for the evening and the next day, taking advantage of the parking for guests, using the bus stop conveniently situated right outside the hotel. Breakfast was superb, with both continental and cooked options available. We will be back!

Loved the big shower & spacious room with a bathtub enjoying sea views. Staff were helpful & wonderful. The only missing piece was an elevator...But there are only 2 floors;-)

Beautiful, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Great amenities in the room including aircon and iron, only thing missing that would have been useful was a fridge. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Brilliant breakfast with sea views. Direct access to the beach. Free parking. Bus stop outside to get into Brighton. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 5 nights with my dog. It was the first time I had travelled alone and the reception and breakfast serving staff were particularly kind (special mention for Amy, Nigel and Jackie). There are more limited rooms if you travel with a pet. I had been hoping for a room with bath which wasn’t an option I was advised. Having said that the room was excellent and the bathroom modern. Cleaning staff were also first class. Fabulous location and dining options. The breakfast was a real treat. Hope to return again before the end of the year.

The rooms are very clean and beautifully appointed. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful however the staff in the restaurant were not as helpful I asked for skimmed milk and the server said the milk on the table is skimmed, I asked her if she was sure and she said yes - when I pushed further (as you can tell by looking at the colour) she said they don’t do skimmed milk - this felt lazy. The breakfast took an age to arrive and wasn’t particularly nice - go to the diner across the road (Elate I think it was called) much nicer, fab food, friendly and cheaper!

We stayed for one night in a double room. Plenty of space, lovely room and nice decor all around the hotel. The bed was comfortable, we slept really well. Nice to have a coffee machine for the morning. The restaurant is lovely, good food and sea views. The staff were friendly, approachable and very attentive. Would stay again!

Well appointed room with high quality fittings. Lovely additions of sweet treats and bathrobes. Bed was huge and sumptuous, GRADE A Sleep. Air conditioning was very welcome for the baking hot weekend and room overlooking the sea of this delightfully unspoilt position in a very quaint little town. Perfect for a getaway by the sea, easy reach of Brighton and Hove, but also brilliant for people wanting long coastal walks and a great quality room to come back to. Balcony room a bonus, sound of the evening waves tranquil and relaxing - we can’t wait to go back.
