Decent for an overnight

A popular pub in the centre of the village. The room was small but clean and functional. Room had a bath, which was nice.

Not good, room not ready 3hrs after check in time. Freezing cold only put the heating on when I got there, room and bathroom a bit grubby. Food choice very pub type fried. Won't be going back.

Good for overnight stay

Room was clean but no wardrobe and bathroom room was along corridor also church clock chiming all night did not help next time will have a room at rear of house away from road noise and the clock. Other wise all good for convenience and a good bar.

Comfortable room, basic but with all the necessary inclusions needed. Friendly staff and locals. Nice outside area. Excellent food and good value for money. Small car park but a free public park within 5 mins walk. Nice local amenities as well.

We stayed in the small twin room, which is as it clearly states is small, but perfectly functional. The bathroom is separate, which did not bother us at all. Very nice owner and staff, nothing was too much trouble and we had a great stay and would not hesitate to return.

Historic..

When we arrived the roads were busy but got a parking space so was good as there is free parking just walking distance from The Whitehorse inn, the rooms were clean but needed a bit of TLC in my opinion other than that it was comfortable and a beautiful place to stay, the owner was awesome and the staff were great, with a friendly atmosphere.. 😊
