Compare and book 4 Star hotels in Flixton, Lowestoft

We recently stayed for two nights at The Cliffe Hotel in Lowestoft and were very pleased with our experience. The room, breakfast area, and communal spaces were all spotless and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was particularly spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was cooked to order and of a high standard, with a good variety of options including cereal, porridge, and a hearty Full English. The service throughout was excellent, everyone we...

The property is well situated looking over the sea loved the room we stayed in with balcony

hotel was lovely very clean and staff very friendly. food was great as I am a bit of a picky eater there was lots on menu for me to choose from.

All the little additions that make a great b&b are considered and make the stay special. The breakfast is good value and the service is really attentive and aimed to give you a great experience. The information they provide is also helpful but they could do with up dating some of the restaurant reccomendations which were in some cases overly optimistic in the presentation! Fab stay would thoroughly reccomend.

Amazing room it had everything we needed for the weekend

Arrived at the Shrewsbury after a very long journey. Was greeted by sandie who was friendly and nothing was any trouble for them. She showed us to room which was very well equipped and extremely clean. We had the four poster suite which was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic served by Tony who was always very friendly and always found time for a chat offering a wide range which filled us up till the evening. Would definitely stay there again and will be recommending the Shrewsbury to family and...

We had a WONDEFUL stay. I have to admit, when we arrived, we were not at all sure, but within a short period of time, it became very apparent that we had made a good choice. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and a huge bed, very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant most evenings, save one (which was a terrible mistake, btw), but he next evening we were back at the Balcony Restaurant, where the service & food were impeccable. Staff all around were ever so friendly and helpful, which can be...

This hotel was lovely. Welcoming staff The room was clean the location is great. Wouldn’t recommend getting a room at the front if you have children it might be a bit noisy early hours of the morning. The room was lovely fantastic view comfy bed think it would have been nice if the windows were slightly cleaner but it wasn’t a massive problem. The shower was Brillant tea coffee biscuits water hot chocolate in the room. We did ask for more coffee but it was late and the lovely man didn’t have...

Room was clean and big, door hinges needed oiling (squeaky) Breakfast not included. Very expensive to buy as an extra but many cheaper places nearby for breakfast. Overall a great place to stay, will definitely stay here again.

Really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Helpful and accommodating staff. We used to come here when it was a pub- full of locals and guests and big roaring fire- created a great ambience which is slightly lacking now. Little cold without the log burner lit- an easy fix.

Neil and his team were perfect hosts. Our room was spacious and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The meticulous attention to detail, wonderful breakfasts and very friendly and helpful hosts made our stay memorable. Thank you all. Michael and Linda

Really great helpful staff dealing brilliantly in difficult situations in COVID-19. Well organised e.g. breakfast and bar. Social distancing possible with only one family in lifts at a time, etc. Reception desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms fairly clean. Some dated looking bits e.g. carpet stains but fine for the price.

The Hotel staff were warm and very welcoming. The food was fantastic, apart from small portions. I had fish and chips was beautiful but I had 14 chips😩

It was a pleasant stay. The staff members were helpful ,polite and well behaved. The breakfast was excellent.

The apartment was spotless! Fantastic location for exploring the city day and night! Will definitely be staying again. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Thank you for a wonderful stay
