"My parents are buried in Horning, so Norfolk has lots of memories. I decided I wanted to celebrate my 60th in Winterton on Sea. We’ve stayed in various cottages in the area, but Larner’s Lodge was by far the best bungalow. We had to stay in the Fisherman’s Return on our first night, so took a sneaky peak at the outside of Larner’s Lodge later that day. Situated down a private driveway, set in a very pleasant location. The bungalow was clean, spacious the perfect place to stay for my 60th....

"What an amazing place Vespers is. The location is perfect right on the river but close to Potter Heigham. We have a boat and we were able to moor it right outside the property. Inside the place is very spacious. We particularly enjoyed eating in the separate dining room. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including glasses for every occasion!! We would definitely recommend the property if you are wanting to come to Norfolk."

"We found the upstairs apartment to be just right for us, what more can I say. a) A view of the river from the apartment. b) Watching or the "newbies" trying to come along side and more their boats (which by the way is hilarious) c) A shop at the end of the road which sells everything you'll need. d. "I stayed here for work and found it a perfect location. Steve was very good with communication and answering all my questions. The room was very modern with lots of gadgets which could be a little tricky but once you got the hang of it was all ok. I stayed 4 nights and looked to re book the same room the following week but unfortunately it had gone. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. "

"Our family’s stay was fantastic! We spent a total of 4 nights here and our stay was amazing, the house has easy access to the seafront and the high street which are all in a 5 minute walking distance which makes it a great place to stay for families, but just as a comment it could do with some grass in the garden for dogs. "We really enjoyed our stay at Admiral Cottage. The location is great. The Village is small and peacful, with a shop, post office, chip shop and a dog friendly pub that serves great beer and food and is only a 2 minute walk away. "The staff are really friendly, the room is a good size and the beds comfy. The room is clean, but unfortunately as soon as we opened the door we were hit by the smell of smoke. It’s a non smoking room, but clearly the previous occupants had been smoking. The cleaner had left the window open and we were given an air freshener to spray but it didn’t help. The hotel was full so couldn’t be moved. A real shame, a child and 2 non smokers, it spoilt the stay really."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this extraordinarily good-value, squeaky-clean, well-located hotel. I was in Norwich for work (I'm an actor appearing in a show there) and I booked a single room with breakfast. I called the hotel to explain that I would have to pick up my keys early, and the very helpful Hamid on reception said that was fine. When I got to the hotel about 2 hours before the usual check in time, Hamid had a lovely room ready for me- a triple! Not the single I had booked. Spacious, nice bathroom, biscuits etc. The continental breakfast too was definitely a cut above the rest for the very reasonable price. I will stay again if I'm in Norwich, and have recommended to others."
