"We had a lovely stay at Delfina. The staff was kind and helpful. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained and cozy. The only thing that we found a bit off was that they have a minimum allowance for breakfast. They then proceed to charge for every possible item, including milk for coffee. This felt like being nickled and dimed. My suggestion to the manager was that they either not include breakfast or simply charge more and allow guests to order whatever they want.....like every other...

"The hotel is fairly nice, but expensive for what you get. Staff is attentive and friendly but the rooftop pool has no service so you’re on your own if you want food or drink. They try to follow you around but you can be waiting for service some times. It’s a bit out of the way but 15 minute drive to town. They keep it very clean! A nice quiet hotel. They need to setup a WhatsApp service for concierge and service. "

"With Merida being 40C during our stay and a bustling place, Treehouse Boutique was an oasis of calm. A really pretty courtyard with a cooling pool and places to sit and read. Our room was cool and very quiet too. Great choices within 2 mins for breakfast and genuinely friendly staff. Would recommend!"

"The hotel is excellent and all the staff is great! Only one suggestion. A hotel of this category should not ask for a voluntary tip for the cleaning staff. Hotels of similar level in other parts of the world don’t ask for any extra payments. "

"The hotel is really amazing. In particular, the people who work at the hotel are simply awesome people. From Oscar and Alexandra at the front desk, Louis the Manager, Rudy at the Bar and Moses and Adrian at the restaurant--all lovely human beings who made my stay special. The only issues that I had were that my room was exactly beside the bar--so the noise level was not great and also there are no rails or clear lighting on the multiple stairs--an issue for those with some mobility issues."
