"Very spacious room which was even better than the photos. Lovely to be so close to the Raptor Park and the free entrance that came with the room. Kitchen areas was great. Nice to have a DVD player, but need to bring own DVDs. Lovely big bathroom. Only negative was shower was very weak and hard to get a constant temperature - alterbated between freezing cold and scolding hot. Other than that a perfect stay. We would recommend "

Customer service was variable and we were left with the impression that the bar and restaurant were the primary focus of the business. "Christ's College is an old institution with lovely grounds in the centre of Cambridge and it is easy to walk to attractions.The accommodation is in a modern block at the back of the grounds and was built by the architect for the National Theatre .So I was faced with a huge flight of concrete steps and no lift!Luckily I had help with my case from a gardener on my arrival and a cleaner as I left and in between I got quite fit! But I think you should warn prospective guests with limited mobility...

"This is the third time my wife and I have stayed here -- we keep coming back because it's inexpensive and close to Cambridge. Rooms are modern and comfortable but lack power outlets beside the bed. Breakfast is quite comprehensive, offering hot and cold food. Parking is free but sometimes the parking lot gets quite crowded. Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.
