Ambiance as soon as I walked through the main entrance. Room was spacious and the shower was simple to use and easy to regulate the temperature, which is not always that easy in other hotels. The only minor blip was the bathroom door opened inwards in front of the the wash basin, so you had to then close the door to access the basin.

Cannot fault this Hotel, the staff and amenities were excellent. Highly recommend it.

Booked this motel for one night through Expedia at a low cost price of £38 for 2 Adults and 1 Child. I really wasn't expecting it to be anything more than tacky, but it turned out to be such a fab deal. Just off the A1 you'd expect it to be noisy, but we didn't hear a thing!! Upon arrival the very pleasant receptionist had a little chat with us and told us the time of breakfast etc. We were on the ground floor. Walking into the room (expecting the worst) I was surprised at how big and clean the...

Excellent choice for short stay. Excellent food and very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Will return.

All the staff were extremely pleasant, polite and very helpful. Our room was clean and quiet.

Good

Always have a pleasant stay here. Staff are helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is very good too.

A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.

Great position for pre holiday stay . Staff were great and really hrlpful with parking

A little gem! Hospitable, great food, well stocked bar, comfortable bed and a good shower. Parking a little sketchy if you're arriving after dark, but a good welcome, clear instructions and helped up the stairs to my room. Dog welcome too (no charge). Simon the landlord is the proper English gentleman, the pub is a well-established proper English pub, and I'd thoroughly recommend a stay here for a reasonably (sensibly) priced base if you're visiting this part of the world on holiday or on...

Great customer service from everyone here especially Sarah on the front desk who went above and beyond for us several times due to a mistake on Expedias part! Food was excellent and the lager and lime hit the spot! With help from an extra quilt even the bed settee was fine. The free breakfast is a no brainer, really excellent spread of hot and cold breakfast buffet.Defo stay again.

We come here quite regularly. Staff are getting to know us. The staff are frienly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The meals are really good. Location is brilliant. Cant fault the hotel

Excellent value and clean all you really want in a business hotel, simple fresh breakfast. Will definatrly stay again. Not forgetting decent powerful shower.

Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge. Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes. Would stay again without hesitation.

Great for a night before a flight. Would stay again

Perfect for a night before an early morning flight

This is an hotel with a few guest rooms, and a nice gastropub. The room was excellent, modern, spacious, clean, warm, tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious, clean, modern, including bath and shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was super Quirky points were (i) TV could be turned on to home page, but a message read that the signal was not strong enough to connect to any channel (I used my laptop instead) (ii) liquid soap container fixed to the shower wall was...

The only thing for me was the heat inbthe room over night , it was too hot
