Cannot fault this Hotel, the staff and amenities were excellent. Highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.

Booked this motel for one night through Expedia at a low cost price of £38 for 2 Adults and 1 Child. I really wasn't expecting it to be anything more than tacky, but it turned out to be such a fab deal. Just off the A1 you'd expect it to be noisy, but we didn't hear a thing!! Charming historic building but inside there was a modern hotel with clean and comfortable, well-maintained rooms. It also has ample parking. There is a pleasant bar area and restaurant. They served a good buffet breakfast with a range of food to suit all tastes (fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread/toast, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and also a full cooked breakfast). All the staff were extremely pleasant, polite and very helpful. Our room was clean and quiet.

We come here quite regularly. Staff are getting to know us. The staff are frienly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The meals are really good. Location is brilliant. Cant fault the hotel

Great customer service from everyone here especially Sarah on the front desk who went above and beyond for us several times due to a mistake on Expedias part! Food was excellent and the lager and lime hit the spot! With help from an extra quilt even the bed settee was fine.The free breakfast is a no brainer,really excellent spread of hot and cold breakfast buffet.Defo stay again.
