"Check-in was good, staff member was pleasant and the room was well presented. Unfortunately the room stank of cigarette smoke and we couldn't be moved to another room. Before I would stay here again I would insist that the room was a non-smoking room, it was truly unpleasant. Nice and simple continental breakfast in a lovely breakfast room with views over the river."

The inside was still excellent as was the food (of course) but the outside was compromised - however this was reflected in the discounted price. I would like to go back when the scaffold is down and the work completed."
