Had a fantastic stay at the Marymount hotel. My room 36 was a upgraded room new bathroom, massive king size bed. Very quiet and a fantastic view of the hills. Breakfast was really good loads of choices. And the food at night was good too. The staff a really nice. Shout out to Maria,Andy and Allana for making us feel so welcome.

The hotel is a definite 11/10 it is stunning. The fact that it is only 2 minutes from the shops and 10 minutes walk to the lake makes it even better and the views are incredible. Breakfast was perfect as well and the staff were fantastic and so friendly and welcoming. Very highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

Great location, close to Thirlmere and Keswick. Excellent service from friendly staff. Cosy room that’s been modernised.

Very convenient , quiet location, easily walkable to the town centre, lake and bus station. Friendly, helpful staff, and beautiful mountain view from our bedroom window. Hope to go back again soon!

Great hotel in a brilliant location with excellent food

Very clean accommodation. Excellent breakfast with varied choices. Dinner menu varied, well presented and tasty. Staff very freindly and helpful. Conveniently located to all amenities. Very happy overall and would certainly stay again.

Idyllic village pub with beautiful scenic views. Would highly recommend this place as there is plenty of walking trails on your doorstep. This place has a lovely traditional pub layout, fantastic food with plenty of choice, all staff super friendly and the rooms were on point. WiFi great throughout the property. Stayed for 3 nights (1st week Feb) and had a great, relaxing break. The type of hotel is in the name, "The Lodge...", and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and has a large television with all the Freesat Channels. I mainly used it as a base for when I went walking, but the snowfall on the first morning put a slight dent into my plans. The staff are excellent and very friendly, and I will definitely return sometime soon.

The apartment was fantastic, plenty of space for relaxing in the lounge, whipping up a quick snack in the kitchen (which was very well equipped with toaster over, stovetop range, cutlery, plates, and a small refrigerator). The bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel is set back far from the small highway, so no noises disturbed our sleep. The bathroom had a bathtub and shower set up, complete with jets that we only discovered on the last day. Also a towel warmer, which was a very pleasant...

Really great family run place. Room was excellent, breakfast fantastic and can't thank the owner enough for local knowledge and tips for walking and food. Good value considering time of year and location. Look forward to visiting again

Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. A true gem in the heart of Keswick! The property felt like home from home, but with the luxury and convenience you would expect from a holiday rental. There is free onsite parking, check-in is easy (the hosts actually contacted us on the day to say we could check-in earlier if we wanted to), and communication with the host was quick and helpful.
