"We stayed in the family room for the weekend. The room was very clean and spacious, with a brilliant view of the lake. The hotel is only a stone's throw away from Hellvelyn which is where we intended to visit, which was very convenient. With the delicious breakfast it was very good value. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well."

"The guesthouse was in a fantastic location right in the centre of Keswick. Kevan & Xueyan were wonderful hosts, very friendly and always happy to give helpful recommendations for local hiking routes. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned daily, and each morning I enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast."

There is parking if you need it. Close to the centre of Keswick so easy to get to shops. Excellent instructions in the cottage and ideas of places to go. Also had books, naps and games. Could not fault this cottage. Would thoroughly recommend. "
