Just off the Coast to Coast walk, this hotel was a perfect place to recover from a long walk. And the all-day tea/coffee and scones was a lifesaver. The rooms were nice and the food was delicious. Could not recommend more. The hotel team are extremely helpful and the food is some of the best we have ever tasted. The bedrooms are small but that is the only slight downside. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. Breakfast is 10/10\. Parking is easy. The location is perfect. Staff were very friendly, and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was modern with a rustic yet country feel, comfortable, spacious, and clean. Food was delicious. We had breakfast each morning and dined in the restaurant on the night. Staff were helpful and attentive.
