"Great short stay. Host was attentive enough to keep you at ease without creating a fuss. Room was beautiful and spotless. Lovely little touches like the bedside chocolates and fresh milk in the mini fridge. We had a deluxe room and en-suite and was well worth the additional pay. Breakfast was beautiful, plenty of choice and all fresh while overlooking the garden. Couldn’t fault the stay. Will definitely be returning when next in the Cotswolds."

"The best part was the personal attention of the owners. This rooms are recently renovated stone farm buildings and are comfortable, attractive and quiet. This is a working farm a short distance from Stow. This was a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds by car. The English Breakfast was excellent and despite the rural location it was quick and easy to drive to Stow for a pub meal. "Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. "

"A joy for the history lover, but it has some seriously steep stairs and uneven floors. The room was large and clean with a modern bathroom. If you like historic inns this place is worthy of your consideration, but be prepared for the stairs!"

"Stayed for 1 night with my Mum as we were visiting the Cotswolds. Was advertised with parking; but no off street parking was available. When we arrived, were greeted by a friendly lady, shown up to the room. The room was unsatisfactory - thick layer of mould all over the windows, walls & shower, dirty kettle, dust (thick & black) all over the room, dirty floor & walls, bowel motions in the toilet brush. We spoke to the lady who greeted us to which she apologised as was not aware of the above...

However the room was tiny and very dated and the en suite was not much more than a cupboard, soundproofing is very poor. Breakfast was a little bit Fawlty Towers, I was told a flat white wasn’t a problem but was given a cup of black coffee,Asking for hot milk seemed to be disconcerting.
