I also wanted to say a massive thank you to Ruth on reception as I called in a panic after we had left as my husband had left his wallet in our room. She was amazing and so were the house keeping who found it AND all safe. Other staff members were lovely too who we met"

"The owner was honest, helpful and informative on our arrival the rooms were clean and tidy and the restaurant and bar areas were nice and comfortable. The pub is only about 15 minutes drive away from Lewes train station which takes you to either Brighton or Eastbourne it was ideal for us has we were there for the football at Brighton. "

"We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is near the seafront and pier and close to the bus route and train station. The staff were very friendly and happy to help— especially Leanne. The room was clean and functional. A minor thing: the door wasn’t sealed top to bottom meaning we had some light and sound from the corridor. I had earplugs so it wasn’t a big bother, but it might bother you if you’re a very light sleeper. The breakfast was fine, toast and spreads, cereals, yoghurt etc. considering...

"Really lovely stay at Flackley Country house with our dog. Staff were very friendly and helpful, made a big fuss over our dog, even gave her breakfast!. Room was clean and spacious with lovely views. Perfect location. Gym was well equiped and the pool and sauna were delightful. Can't wait to return! "

"I have stayed here a few times now and on this occasion I stayed in room 6. It was incredibly hot, even with the heating off and window open and to add to that with the window open the kitchen fans outside would come on, along with the odd employee having a break outside and chatting and this was at around 10pm, so could be disruptive from a noise point of view. However, the place is very clean, comfy beds, food is excellent, as is the service. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. ...
