A little dubious at first, hidden away behind a bar but couldn't have been more wrong. Met by Gemma who was very attentive and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable. A one night stay whilst visiting the area on business. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. I was able ot a silly arrange a late checkout to give me time to change after my meeting before getting the train home. The room was large and well appointed, very comfortable with a huge wet room bathroom. Room was spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, and the room had a sea view (the hotel is right on the beach!) Hotel easy to find. As you drive up, the grounds are spectacular. The hotel was beautiful, polite staff, food fairly priced and good. Our room was cleaned & when we returned it was spotless with a beautiful fragrant. So nice. I recommend the Bannertyne hotel highly. Thank you

The Royal Victoria is a really lovely hotel - lovely is the only word for it. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, warm and cosy. I loved the hotel for its old world charm, and the staff were friendly, courteous and most helpful at all times. I look forward to my next stay at the Royal Victoria - there definitely will be one!

Genuinely friendly and very professional staff . We had 2 twins rooms that actually had 2 double beds in each.Supplies in room to notch.Very clean and tidy. Lounge/bar/dining area very comfortable Ticked all the boxes and will definately return. All in all , faultless.

We have just had a two night stay at The View Hotel. Its location was fantastic for us as we were going to 2 gigs a few minutes walk away. Easy to park the car out the front in the bays (a few pounds a day). Our room was lovely, upgraded to king size and part sea view. Breakfast to die for..everything you could possibly want. It wasn’t a problem for us as we were out till late…but it’s Christmas party season and on both nights parties were banging till midnight …so no early night folks as the...

Very close to good food, good pubs and Towner Gallery

Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.

Great hotel, lovely rooms and lounge areas. Food in the restaurant was excellent: good choice at a reasonable price. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Enjoyable stay

A lovely hotel which was recently renovated. The staff are brilliant and super helpful. Although we did not use the restaurant it looked very good. There was a beautiful cocktail bar too. Our room was on the 4th floor and reached by a gorgeous old lift complete with seats!! The room itself was a little shabby in parts but the views were magnificent. Bathroom was large and very nice. Excellent coffee in the rooms and they all come with access to Netflix etc. Would definitely stay here again....

Stayed for one night at the George in Rye. Right in the centre of town and convenient for browsing the local shops. Stayed in Room 3 which was absolutely gorgeous. The general décor of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had our evening meal there - quite pricey but enjoyable with good service. Wonderful inn, amazing food, gorgeous room. Everything spotlessly clean. Super friendly staff. The whole experience was magical. Breakfast was stunning. Cant write a single bad thing, because this place and people are just so perfect.
