"Leisure visitor"
Location was good if you want to a little away from the more active part of the downtown. Large room with comfortable king bed. Room and hallway in need of some updating. Malfunctioning light in hallway made it dark near elevator. Bathroom was clean, but had paint drops on floor near door and stains on tiles around bathtub. I suppose for a 2 star hotel everything was acceptable.

"Good Location in a Quiet, Colourful Neighbourhood"
Our 5-day visit to Toronto was just about perfect. We were able to see most of the major sites on our list as well as experience interesting neighbourhoods, diverse restaurants and a few spontaneous events. Highlights included exploring the St. Laurence Market, City Hall, the Distillery District, Greektown & Little Italy. We took a boat trip to the Islands, spent a morning at the AGO (especially the Harris Exhibition), walked through the U of T grounds and enjoyed an afternoon hiking up Spadina Ave. including colourful Chinatown. We were on foot for most of our exploring as Toronto is a very walkable city. Public transport was a breeze (including "The Rocket" airport link, the subway and streetcars). As we were also visiting family, we were unable to book any shows (such as Cirque du Soleil) but stumbled upon a production of TWELTH NIGHT in St. James Park that was as professional as it was interactive. Another lucky highlight was Kensington Market on the weekend with a variety of ethnic street foods and colourful counterculture vibe. People were friendly and helpful although downtown traffic was obnoxious (drivers like to use their horns)! When the urban experience got too much, there were plenty of parks and green spaces to relax in. Toronto's a vibrant, multicultural city that has numberless pleasures to offer visitors.

"Party House"
Place fits the name to a T -a Guest House. It is everything one would expect from a Guest House, nothing more --and perhaps nothing less. First hotel stay in Toronto, so can't compare to others for value. But Global served our purpose -in town to a wedding- well.

"Cheap, but clean"
The hotel itself was definitely not anything special. Cheap is the only word I could think of to describe, but I didn't expect much, as it was actually the cheapest I could find in downtown Toronto next to a couple of hostels. You could hear what's going in in the hallway from the room, and smell the smoke in the stairwell from the smoking rooms. The man at the front desk was polite and professional. I skipped the breakfast, and the area of the city had some "undesirables" hanging around. Sleep here if your cheap, trying/needing to save a buck, sleeping with someone who is not so special to you

"Great Location for the Price"
It was clear to us from the information on Expedia when we booked our accommodation that Urban Living Suites (ULS) was undergoing renovations however, given how difficult it is to find reasonably priced accommodation in downtown Toronto for a family of five, we decided to give ULS a try and we're glad we did. We had a family suite at the back which appears to have been previously renovated. It was quiet, had a small kitchenette and enough space to accommodate us for our two night stay. We arrived several hours earlier than expected but our room was ready and we were able to check-in straight away. We really enjoyed our stay in Toronto and this was definitely due in part to the location of ULS which is in waking distance to many cafes/restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.

"Comfortable hotel in handy location"
Hotel is a few blocks away from coach station and slightly further to mainline train station. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Helpful staff. Hotel decor is rather dated - they say a revamp and update will happen soon. For those with car there is an underground car park across from the hotel, although we didn't use it since we didn't have our car with us. Choice of hat and cold foods for breakfast.

Toronto’s culturally diverse downtown includes the CN Tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Air Canada Centre is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Rogers Centre features the Blue Jays. Toronto’s underground city is a great way to get around the downtown core when the temperature drops. Known as the PATH, it is also the world’s largest subterranean shopping center.
