The front staff were both very friendly. There were lots of cameras set up front to ease the worry of the people hanging around outside at all times of day. While some people may be scared to stay in such a place, we were in and out of the place at times of the day and night and it was safe when we were there. This hotel just felt how I felt Toronto was. Looks rough but is nice. The hotel staff is beyond nice, the hotel is near enough to the city centre for that to be its second best asset. The rooms could do with some TLC, sometimes you can smell some fait scent of cigarette coming from the vent and the A/C is very loud but it's a fairly neutral sound. One of the things that make the hotel very attractive is its price.
