"Great place for a couple of days stop over. Stage a very friendly and efficient. Room very comfortable and more than enough space. Food very good and selection of beers also excellent. Only drawback is the shared bathroom, it didn’t bother us but some may find it a bit awkward. All in all we had a very enjoyable couple of days there"

"Good night sleep. Bed was comfortable however sides of bed were slightly uncomfortable kept feeling like was going to fall off. Service was great, room was quiet and they have TVs with YouTube and Netflix on, did not have breakfast it would come to this hotel again. Shower was big but door fell off. Managed to fix it, water pressure and temperature could be better. Was lovely and warm In the room and had loads of towels. "

"Was greeted with a very warm welcome and was informed about the facility at the place ( unlimited tea/coffee, shared living room, how to use the key to get in ( front door) options of places to eat and supermarket up the road) was guided to my room and asked when I was thinking off having breakfast. I had booked the single room, the bed was comfy and clean, there was a very small on suit with a small shower, sink and toilet. Room had a large wardrobe, good size tv, a chair and two small tables....

"Great breakfast. Rooms and en suite very dated but bed comfortable. En suite very compact. This is an old farm run by an elderly couple. Good for someone looking for an old fashioned b&b."

"Lark Rise cottage was a wonderful B& B. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. Our hostess was friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was amazing. It is the best B & B that we have ever stayed in! We would have stayed longer if possible. Thank you, Jenny from the visiting Aussies."

"Stayed here for 2 days. Very close to the train station, as well as the bus stop for local buses to nearby villages. It was perfect for my needs. Bed was comfortable as well, and I slept like a baby. NOTE: There's no door to the bathroom (only a curtain). If you're sharing a room, make sure you're comfortable with this."
