We stayed for four nights. This is a great hotel for the price and the location. You are within one block of a dozen places to eat of every background imaginable and dozens more a few blocks away. The hotel is located on Robson Street, which has an amazing array of places to eat and shop. It was a short walk to and from the convention center each day for the GSA meeting in October. The walk is worth it. You really get to see what Vancouver has to offer. The hotel is also conveniently located near the seawall and Stanley Park. The view from the balcony on the 22nd floor is stunning! The rooms and bathrooms are clean. If you do not mind rooms that where made in the 70s and have been updated, enjoy the substantial savings for the location. We walked to Downtown, Stanley Park, Chinatown, and Gastown from our hotel. The location does not get any better. The dining on the 42nd floor is amazing. We stopped in for desert and the view. The hotel service was amazing. My card is not accepted widely in Canada (Discover), yet the hotel staff worked with me to get a cash deposit for the room that was only half the usual amount. They were also quick to inspect the room for damage to give my deposit back immediately upon leaving even we left at 2 AM for the airport. There is always kind and professional cab drivers waiting in the lobby for you at any hour and any destination. The only bad thing about the stay was the WiFi. It is slow, but don't spend much time online!
I absolutely loved my stay there and I would definitely stay there again. I had my own sink, fridge, cooker living room and bed room. It was wonderful as I could have people round and cook for myself. The cleanliness is outstanding and the view from the window amazing. The only thing is that the lifts are slow (I mean i had read the previous reviews but i did not know that it was that slow). Otherwise if you are not in a rush, it is definitely worth staying in and the area it is located in was perfect.
The staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly. It was my first trip to Vancouver so they were awesome with gtiving directions, offering advise and retrieving my car multipul times. The resturant at the hotel was a nice surprise. The food was out of this world and the staff couldnt be more helpful and they knew the menu very well.
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. You can walk to the beach, Stanley Park,Granville Island ferry, and to downtown. Transit is almost at the door. The neighbourhood has lots of great restaurants (try Legendary Noodle), Whole Foods nearby, Starbucks and Tim's. There is a mall with a dollar store for all those forgotten items, and a No Frills for those food items you like to have in your room. The room fridge was roomier than a bar fridge. Rooms have balconies for outdoor relaxing, although the hotel has a beautiful outdoor courtyard.
The only negative is the in room portable air conditioning unit which we found too noisy to leave on all night. We managed to keep the room comfortable by using the air conditioner while we were out, and using the drapes to keep out the sun. We would stay here again, and that says it all.
Was in Vancouver for a half marathon. The hotel staff was very accommodating in that they let me enjoy breakfast early before the race and allowed me to have a late check-out so I could come back and shower after the race. Very friendly staff! The hotel room was comfortable and very nice. The only real complaint I had was that the bathroom wasn't cleaned completely (there was hair on the floor and in the tub). Other than that, we had a great experience! Love the suite-style rooms! Will definitely be coming back to this hotel next time we are in Vancouver!
Great hotel - convenient to downtown Vancouver, blocks from Convention Centre. Excellent amenities - we stayed in a very comfortable suite. Very clean, very secure, staff knew us, very polite. Nice to have little things, like Keurig machine, with cups replaced daily. They even washed dishes that we happened to leave by the sink.

hotel itself very clean, staff at the front desk very friendly & helpful, good location with many restaruants & bus stops nearby. Bed & pillows are surprisingly comfortable !!!, we had a few good night of sleep. The only drawback is street noise ( our room is in the 3rd floor facing Davie street). The hotel room price is very resonable. Definitely will stay here again if visit Vancouver again.

I knew from reading reviews about this hotel so I was prepared to lug my bag up 3 flights of stairs but really, it was not that big a deal. Room was great, was slightly noisy but overall I would stay here again. Hotel staff were great and very accommodating.
