"The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington. "

Our toilet wasn't flushed from the previous guests when we arrived but besides that the house was spotless. Charles was a very welcoming host and made us an incredible breakfast. There are shops locally but we took what we needed for our stay so we could get away from everything. We ditched the car and walked everywhere. The forest is on your doorstep and a nature reserve just over the road.. Ideal place if you have dogs, enjoy walking and want to get away from daily life, just be aware of the hills. "The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. "I stayed in the farm for 3 nights with my partner. The Annexe has everything you need and is perfect for a quiet and relaxing gateway trip. Having breakfast in the garden was definitely a highlight! Arthur, the owner, came to greet us the first morning and was very kind. They also provided us with a Welcome letter which was very helpful when looking for places to eat. The only cons is that the bathroom is a bit tight, specially the shower - I'm a tall woman- but I'd definitely recommend this...
