The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night"

"It was clean and accessible. No street noise or guest noise. Walkable to the train station. Comfortable bed. Very basic breakfast and basic tea & coffee. No local eateries except for poor takeaways. Staff not particularly friendly. "

"I was disappointed that, although there seemed to be very few guests staying, we didn't have a sea view. Instead we had a view of the back of the driving range. Although the room was overall very clean, the dark carpet had obvious bleach spills and stains all over, and new carpets were definitely needed. One of our bath towels had obviously been used to wipe the floor. "

"Positives first, we had a family wedding near by and were allowed to check into the room at1pm instead of 4.30pm which was greatly appreciated. There is ample free on site parking and the building from the outside looks very nice.However the property is very dated and in desperate need of renovation."

"The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. Recommended for chilled out stay in...

"Fantastic place to stay, unwind and be at one with nature! Not quite in the middle of nowhere but close enough. There are shops locally but we took what we needed for our stay so we could get away from everything. We ditched the car and walked everywhere. The forest is on your doorstep and a nature reserve just over the road.. Ideal place if you have dogs, enjoy walking and want to get away from daily life, just be aware of the hills. "I stayed in the farm for 3 nights with my partner. The Annexe has everything you need and is perfect for a quiet and relaxing gateway trip. Having breakfast in the garden was definitely a highlight! Arthur, the owner, came to greet us the first morning and was very kind. They also provided us with a Welcome letter which was very helpful when looking for places to eat. The only cons is that the bathroom is a bit tight, specially the shower - I'm a tall woman- but I'd definitely recommend this...
