"We had a wonderful weekend at Hotel A22. The Deluxe Double room was spacious and dead quiet. It was super cosy with a stylish kitchen/bar and stunning Art Deco interior. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered great views. The room cleaning and turn-down service were prompt, with welcome sweets and chocolates. We loved the Bose speaker and the 24-hour sauna access. "The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Also breakfast is lovely and the chef will freshly cook you something from the menu. In the dining room there is a beautiful parakeet called Misha. Overall this is a great place to stay in the centre of the beautiful old town."

"Easily accessible by public transportation, perfectly situated between the Old City and the Art Nouveau district, the Metropole is one of Riga's best hotels. Yet it is surprisingly affordable. Rooms are small, but the hotel dates from a time when rooms were just for sleeping. Public spaces are attractive and clean. Staff is multilingual and attentive. The "Gastropub" De Commerce 1871 should receive better notice: it's a lovely space with first class continental dishes and an excellent bar."
