When we arrived we were told by the reception staff they had upgraded us to a better room. It was indeed a lovely room on a corner so we had balconies on two sides of the room.
We only stayed one night here but this is essentially a family resort so quite noisy around the pools, but that's only to be expected. Breakfast was excellent.
We were told when we arrived that we needed to pay 5 euros on leaving to get out of the car park, but when we checked out they said we did not have to pay.
This large hotel mainly caters for elderly tourists and families in all-inclusive holidays. It is situated in a quiet town with numerous elderly ex-pat residents. Beach here not great, but several nice coves nearby. Two swimming pools available including one for children.
This is an hotel predominantly used by German and Spanish families. It is definitely a family hotel do the pool area can be quite busy. There are organised activities for adults and children alike. The food was excellent and you would be hard pushed to not find something you liked to eat. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent.
A short taxi drive from the airport (about 25 mins) and we arrived at our hotel.
My wife and I were looking for a quiet, child free week away, and we weren't disappointed.
The hotel had a calm relaxing atmosphere and was superbly located on a relatively quiet beach (considering it was August)
The beach area was incredibly well maintained and the coastal path (which ran right past the hotel ) a pleasure to stroll along.
Standard rooms clean, refurbished and spacious. Location nice and quiet with good coastal views. Food was lovely and all inclusive drinks with good selection of branded names at no extra cost is good value.
Nice comfortable double sun lounges are excellent when available!
From the minute we arrived we found the staff to be very pleasant, friendly and they helped to make our stay so memorable. Yes some of the facilities could do with updating but cleanliness cannot be faulted. We had a pool view on the second floor of the main hotel and it was just perfect, only thing we would have liked was tea/coffee making facilities with a fridge in the room but as drinks are so readily available throughout the complex from early morning until very late when staying all inclusive this was not really an issue. Hotel gardens are beautiful and all staff from cleaners, bar staff, restaurant, reception and gardeners obviously work very hard and could not do enough for us.
If you are looking for somewhere to relax and chill out then this is the perfect hotel but if you are looking for nightlife, shops, selection of restaurants etc then this is not a great area as very small and quiet. Main town is down a very steep bank but the hotel runs it's own bus service every half hour throughout the day until 7.30pm.
We will definitely make a return trip to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing week or two stress free.
