I had a great time here. I was staying by myself but visiting friends who were on the island at the same time. Their place was booked so I stayed here. The bar facility by the pool is great - I went up to buy a drink and noticed the taps facing outwards. To my surprise, everything was included and for the price I paid, I was honestly shocked. Amstel on tap - great wine and full bar service. The buffet was excellent and a different spread each day and night. They also gave an option to deliver breakfast to your room at no extra cost. The room itself was large by Spanish standards and well appointed. Great shower, OK bed - a little hard for my liking but that is more of a personal preference. They had free shuttles to the beach, entertainment and so much to do within walking distance. This is probably the best value I have ever gotten out of a hotel.

"Lovely hotel, very attentive staff, close to beach"
A very pleasant weeks stay. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very attentive. The buffet was very good and well organised, but I did not need Cava for breakfast ! The short walk to the beach through the gardens was pleasant. I did not experience the pool - too many sunbeds very close together.

One word: Welcome! From the first minute till the last I did enjoy my stay and felt that staff really cared about details and knew how to look after guests. Opposed to my previous stay in Maspalomas in another hotel I did not feel the German over focussing from the staff. They really have been the same with everyone. My Dutch friends staying at the same time said the same. Room spotless cleaned and at a convenient time. Enough sunbed to avoid stupid race in the Morming. Food fairly good. I will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in august and felt like we could ask for anything. Our room was spotless and all staff were incredible friendly. Hotel is close to all we needed, whether it be a quiet night or a bigger night out. We look forward to staying again.

We booked this hotel, because we got such a good deal on expedia, we got 5* for the price of most 4* holidays. At first site the H10 Playa Meloneras Palace is impressive, you enter the reception area and cannot fail to be impressed. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful,we arrived just in time to go down for evening meal so they fast tracked us to the restaurant and we completed the check in after we had eaten. We were allocated a room in the 200's, I was expecting a pool or sea view as I had emailed the hotel a few weeks before our arrival requesting this because it wasn't clear on the booking options. Instead we ended up with a view of a hedge! We immediately asked if we could be moved but the reception staff explained that the hotel was completely full, and informed us that we did have a view of the golf course. This was true if you peered through the hedge you could just about see some greenery.
Having said all that it did not detract from a superb holiday for 10 nights in October. The hotel staff are brilliant and are willing to make your stay very special. The facilities in the hotel are second to none, there are 4 pools to choose from and there was never any problem getting sunbeds.
The food was excellent with a choice that could not fail to please everyone, Enrique was especially nice at breakfast.
"Service exceptional, from the moment you check in"
The service at this hotel has to be commended from reception to the restaurant and bar, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The room, which was overlooking the garden/pool area was adequate, clean and comfortable (cleaned every day). The choice of food both for breakfast and evening meal was outstanding, too much so that we were going around in circles trying to decide what to have and whatever we chose we were not disappointed with. Meals are served at 6pm and 8pm, the later time does get busy and you need to book your table when you arrive for the duration of your holiday. Poolside drinks and snacks with more helpful staff, some entertainment in the evening till 11pm.
Just returned from a weeks stay at the Rui Palmeras .From our arrival which was around 10pm (a cold buffet had been put aside for us) to our departure I can honestly say that ALL of the staff we encountered could not do enough to make our stay a memorable one. They really know how to provide a high standard of service. The facilities are spotless including the pool area. The food is really good and there is plenty of variety. The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the Yumbo Shopping Centre.
The only negative comment I could make would be that we had to pay for internet usage which in many hotels we have stayed in is usually free of charge however it did not impact on our holiday.
Prices for drinks and bar food is actually cheaper than the bars and restaurants and therefore encourages you to spend more time at the hotel.
Rooms good size.
Food excellent. Plenty of choise even for a fusspot like myself ! Food was sometimes
a little on the cool side but it could be reheated in a microwave in the dining room If one
Two pools. Lots and lots of space for beds by the pool or on a large area which overlooked
the main pool.
Larger of he pools is by the Apartment block and is wonderfully quiet.
Reasonabaly equiped smallish gym open from 7.30 am till late.
Entertainment is of the 'shouty shouty'/'clappy clappy kind. Thay make even Ant and Dec look good ! I guess since most people are on 'all inclusive' they need not bother to get bums on
seats for 'showtime'.
Disco not open. In days gorn by when most people had to pay for drinks, the Disco 'happy hour' fom 11pm to midnight attracted he punters (me included) like crazy but these days
when booze is 'free' from 10am till 11pm why start paying for drinks.
