"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond. "What a fabulous wee hideaway for us! Thank you for the warm welcome and great facilities. Wildlife is in abundance - we loved watching the birds feeding and the cheeky red squirrels scampering around us. A fab treat and a place we’d love to re-visit! "

"Clean and comfortable. Good shower and comfortable bed. Quiet despite at a shopping area and next to a bar. The surrounding area not so nice but that is generally true for Glasgow, a typical inner city. We booked it for ease of transport as it is right next to St Enoch subway station. Has coin operated self service laundry. "

"The staff was extremely helpful and very nice the hotel itself is a little dated but it’s rooms are very big which is nice the area has lots of restaurants and bars around and it’s very walkable to everything but it can be noisy at night with the bars and restaurants being so close by in fact our room was overtop of a bar "
