"TV didn’t work in the room for the first two nights. Staff initially offered to move us to a new room but then retracted the offer and instead offered a key to a room with a tv until they could fix it the next day. Not a great solution."

"Absolutely loved staying at 24 Royal Terrace! Felt so welcome as soon as we arrived by the friendly staff/ hotel manager Jonathon. Rooms are great with a peaceful garden/ countryside view. Hotel itself is really nice with loads of character. Breakfast with unlimited coffee both mornings was also great. Will be back!! :)"

"I can't say enough good things about The George. After falling in love with Edinburgh last year, we returned to the city and the hotel who made our stay extra special. The staff it wonderful and truly make you feel like you're home - whether they wish you a good day or welcome you back after a long day of walking up and down hills. We were greeted with smiles at every turn. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely room that looked up to the castle. Great showers, great room...

"Amazing stay, fabulous staff. We were staying to celebrate my friends birthday and were lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade, the room was stunning, we couldn’t have hoped for better. Lots of nice touches including a beautifully presented plate of choc covered strawberries, complementary Prosecco and a birthday banner. It’s been a long time since I’ve received such exemplary service at a hotel. I can’t wait to have an opportunity to stay again. "

"Excellent trip from start to finish. We arrived early, but the rooms were already ready. And we got a fantastic upgrade! The concierge helped us plan out our sightseeing for the following day, as well as made a great dinner recommendation and reservation. Drinks and food at Peacock Alley and the Caley bar were excellent. The service was wonderful - I wish I could remember all the staffs’ name who assisted us. Thanks for an excellent stay! "
