"Great location."

"Hotel was a great end to our 2 week tour around Scotland. The parking was my biggest concern but the hotel partnered with Omni at the nearby shopping center and as long as you pre booked it went very smoothly. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The restaurant was pretty good with great staff. We had breakfast, dinner and drinks and enjoyed our experience each time. "

"Wonderful!!! Excellent location, very friendly staff. We did not eat at hotel however did have drinks in the lounge. Very nice selection of gin, great view of the castle and nice seating. Will definitely stay here again."

"Fifth time I have stayed at the OW. Hard to be much more convenient to the train station or airport bus/tram. Has an old-world vibe and an extremely nice staff. The rooms are comfortable. There is a flight of stairs to get to the lobby, but an elevator after that. On site bar, restaurant and afternoon tea option are all pleasant. The breakfast buffet is very large and sets you up for the day. I will choose the OW every time I return to Edinburgh."

"I can't say enough good things about The George. After falling in love with Edinburgh last year, we returned to the city and the hotel who made our stay extra special. The staff it wonderful and truly make you feel like you're home - whether they wish you a good day or welcome you back after a long day of walking up and down hills. We were greeted with smiles at every turn. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely room that looked up to the castle. Great showers, great room amenities, and cozy beds. We plan to return next year!!!"
