Inchecken werkt ook perfect en de locatie is centraal, lekker rustig gelegen. Met je hoofd bij het raam was erg koud en flinke tocht helaas geen extra deken aanwezig. We never found staff on site, so were relieved to know we could get in. The location is perfect, however if you are looking for fancy or cozy, this isn't it. We were always on the go so only used the room to sleep in. The beds were quite comfortable and it is quiet but the shared bathroom was a bit of a faff when rooms are at maximum occupancy. Shower runs well, hot water available, beds are clean and comfy. Only downside there is no luggage storage at the property before check in or after check out. The hotel provides a modern clean and comfortable room with all the essentials; but with none of the additional unnecessary frills. Ideally suited for solo travellers / couples who want to make the most of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Train and bus stations all within a 10/15 min walk, great bars and restaurants on your doorstep and Old Town 20 mins walk away, Haymarket 10 mins walk and Leith 30 mins. Staff are very friendly and helpful in person and by phone. I would not hestitate to stay here again.
