Because we were returning to the hotel and had a booking, we were able to store some luggage there when we went away for a few days, which was particularly helpful. "Fifth time I have stayed at the OW. Hard to be much more convenient to the train station or airport bus/tram. Has an old-world vibe and an extremely nice staff. The rooms are comfortable. There is a flight of stairs to get to the lobby, but an elevator after that. On site bar, restaurant and afternoon tea option are all pleasant. The breakfast buffet is very large and sets you up for the day. I will choose the OW every time I return to Edinburgh."
