"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. Would stay again and happy to recommend."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Chimneys. A lovely old house, despite it being on a main road into town (15 min walk) it was very quiet. I had a cosy room with the usual amenities, a nice view and a private bathroom across the hall. There is a good choice of breakfasts, and they'll do their best if you have any special requirements. "Anfield is right around the corner. It was the perfect location for walking around the area, exploring Stanley Park, and it was still easy to catch a bus to center city. I had some travel mishaps, and Suzzanne was great to work with. Suzi was likewise great. The atmosphere on matchday was amazing. As a solo traveler my room was small, but it was all I needed. Highly recommended for anyone going to an LFC match."
