"This is the place to go if you want a secluded get away for snorkeling and/or some booked adventures. Dinners every night next to the ocean and an all around serene trip. This is not adults only but caters to an older crowd of divers and snorkels so there were only one or two kids. The rooms are extremely simplistic and basic, I slept in the in-room hammock every night, as the bed is very firm. The grounds are Beautiful and the front looks like Shelha Water Park! The food options are vast within the two locations they are offered. We have done multiple all inclusive and they made it the most simplistic I have seen. You wear a bracelet and everything is free, end of story. They might not have as many perks as some places but those places can also be a pain with up charges and sales people constantly at you. This resort has no sales people harassing you , no timeshares, nothing like that. There is the all you can eat buffet, or the restaurant (they switch back n forth) then there is the grill by the pool and room service. There are plentiful bars with great drinks. They did a special dinner by the pool which was very fancy and was included in our all inclusive, typically these are not in our experience (that was nice) They don’t fill mini bars nor deliver alcohol to rooms. They give you two water bottles and each floor has Alhambra dispensers where you can fill water bottles or cups. My favorite people were the activity coordinators and the people at the Reef store! "

"Everything was great. The food at the buffet was good and the food at the Las Marias Mexican Restaurant was so delicious! The pools were clean and the beach was great for snorkeling. The bed and the pillows were so comfortable! Loved the tropical feel of the hotel. Everything was great!"

"Very nice hotel with easy access to snorkeling and diving. Confortable bed, nice spacious rooms with balcony. Friendly staff. The hotel has two restaurants but both serve the same food. That said, the food is good and they have a big menu. No convenience stores nearby nor shops but the taxi to the center is about 10 dollars. We had a great time. Would return and do recommend."

"What we loved about this property was how centralized it was to the things we like. We stayed 5 days. We were right across the water and with a balcony we had an awesome ocean view. Right below us was a 7-11 and a pharmacy. So we could get bottles of water or cheap food at any hour of the day. The pharmacy was great since I forgot my sleep medication. You don’t need a prescription and can get just about anything you can imagine. We went to a different coffee shop every day and a different restaurant every day. They had a small breakfast buffet in the hotel. It had a good selection of food and closed late. At 11 am. You can order eggs any style including omelets made by an employee. I highly recommend Denys restaurant, la chosa and la misión were also great. They were all within a few blocks of hotel. We tried others near by but they were not so good. My wife is Mexican so we knew what was great or just ok. The hotel staff was super friendly. The pool had a small bar so we could drink in the pool. The water was heated so it was very comfortable. You really don’t need a rental car unless you want to see the island and then I recommend a buggy. That’s what we did. They’re just cooler to ride in. You do need to know how to drive stick. I recommend a scooter more because parking was an issue. The 7-11 had an atm but it’s only in pesos. When we were there it was roughly $6 for every 100 Mexican pesos. "

"The resort is better than it looks in pictures. Service was prompt and excellent throughout. We travelled with our older parents and little kids and everyone had a great time. Water is crystal clear and calm. We were in the garden view rooms across from the second “quiet” pool, which happened to be heated, it was just perfect. Worked out better than being in ocean front rooms thanks to the calm and tranquil atmosphere. Each room has a large patio. The resort was unlike other big resorts that tend to be so busy and commercial. No wait times for dinner, or any meal service. Will definitely visit again!"
