"We recently stayed here in late October 2023 for five nights (Sunday-Friday) and had a wonderful time. This is a very special place. If you really want to immerse yourself in the nature of Madeira, Terrabonna will not disappoint. Marco and Maria and their staff (Emmanuel is great!) are terrific hosts. No decaff tea - go next door to the cliff after dinner for that. VidaMar suited us as a great base (we didn’t rent a car), we used bus or booked trips. The ‘west’ jeep discovery tour is a must. Plus all the other go-to places. Walk to Camera de Lobos and get the bus back. Madeira exceeded our expectations. "
