"Lovely hotel and room. All very clean and comfortable. Great location for shops and the Elbow gig! Lots of nearby food places too. The upstairs bar and restaurant was very nice, especially siting out on the balcony for pre (and post) concert) drinkies! The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. "All fine and dandy. Room and decor a little dated but super clean and everything we needed. All staff were really friendly but the star is the incomparable Linda. I really hope you are paying her enough because she is a gem! Nothing was too much trouble even won over my usually reserved, sons. So helpful , so attentive to all guests. She is the reason I would stay again. Thankyou"

"This is a hidden gem. It is a very nice hotel just on the outskirt of the city but only a few minutes walk from the town hall. There is a very nice bar with outdoor seating at both the side of the building on on the street with a church view. The rooms are nicely decorated with a modern bathroom and a mini bar with a very pleasant surprise! There was plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel although this is charged via an App at £21.50 per 24 hours."

"Hotel location is excellent. 5 minute walk from the Train Station (ignore Google Maps!!). Staff were first class and very welcoming. Hotel is excellent throughout. Breakfast was top class, so much choice and excellent quality. My only gripe was the prices of the drinks at the bar (which is common in hotels). £24 for 2 cocktails and £8 a pint. Would definitely come back again."
