Great hotel with a very modern interior and fantastic views over the city. The rooms were spotlessly clean and were very comfortable, even having a pillow menu to choose from. The location is great, right outside Dammtor S bahn station and only a few minutes walk (circa 10) to the city centre. Slightly irritated by the bar man in the night club who gave us the bill for our drinks then asked how much we would like charged to our credit card, clearly suggesting that we should add a tip on to the bill total. No issues with tipping but just found being essentially asked for a tip a bit cheeky. Maybe it's a cultural thing! On the whole though, a great hotel.
The hotel is very well situated it is close to the main train station, close to the water and close to restaurants and retail.
The room was extremely comfortable, very clean and modern. The hotel staff were also helpful and friendly.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
I stay at this hotel when in Hamburg for business. Location is great for Hamburg and hotel is clean, immaculate and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is all you would want it to be with great choice of fresh products.
Would highly recommend staying there.
Hotel is handily placed for central Hamburg which is only 10 / 15 mins stroll away. Reeperbahn is 5 mins away. Rooms spacious and well equipped and staff very helpful. Would definitely stay at the Adina again.
"Great location& very appealing quirky themed hotel"
We stayed with friends at this great themed hotel. Everything was great apart from the bed which was a little too hard for us all.
Quiet, handy location with train access to central Hamburg.
Would we stay here again.......every time we will come to Hamburg!
Food was great, beer was cold and so close to the cruise terminal...fantastic.
It was my first stay at the hotel. Although I arrived very late due to the night flight into the city, the staff was very friendly and immediately helped me check in. I was on a business trip, and the in-room internet connection was more than satisfactory to suit my needs to contact my home office. I cannot leave a comment about other business facilities (such as printing and scanning) that I have not used, though. The room was extremely tidy with pretty much everything I need to soothe up.
The location is very nice, with close proximity to the city's commercial and shopping areas. I could find pretty much anything I need within the next two blocks, such as some office supplies or extra clothes.
Only notable fault was that the mini bar was completely empty throughout during my stay. The staff on the ground floor, however, helped me buy beverages or snacks any time I wanted. Accordingly, I cannot find any fault on it either.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The staff were lovely and left a surprise plate in our room when they found it was my husband's birthday. As the hotel is on a hill in a park, the rooms are not overlooked by other buildings. The room was spotless with stylish, modern decor and excellent bathroom. Hamburg has gone to the top of my favourite cities list. It is such a lovely city to exlore on foot, with loads of coffee stops and shops. The miniature railway exhibition is brilliant - so much more than trains. We had a really enjoyable stay and returning to the welcome of the Movenpick at the end of a busy (and chilly) day was a joy.
This is a very new hotel. Everything in it was pristine. We enjoyed the proximity to the old town canals and walk to the dock main tourist area. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you need wireless internet in your room ask and they will give you a free connection card.
If ever in Hamburg again I would definitely not look at anything else as this place was ideal.
Metro access just 70 meters from hotel, with easy access.
Helpful staff gave us lots of tips about getting around, including two day trips from nearby central station to Lubeck [excellent] and Bremen [interesting but touristy old streets]. Hamburg itself was not as interesting beyond the Rathaus--which is why we did the day trips. The hotel room fit the hotels name, with very spare, woody space, but easy to see how clean and well kept it and the whole hotel were.
