“Wonderful hotel”

Lovely hotel within walking distance of all the sites in Hamburg and only 5 minutes away from a main train station. Staff were lovely and friendly and spoke excellent English

“Good hotel but missing some finishing touches”

Very good hotel - great location, efficient staff (although some were not particularly friendly), impresive decor, nice bedrooms/bathrooms. However some details were surprisingly absent for a hotel of this quality - e.g. there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms, and no iron or trouser-press was provided. I was also very unimpressed with the food in the brasserie. It was ok - but just that - nothing special. The vegetarian options were very limited. Again, I would have expected better from a hotel of this standard. My room was also a little cold (I had my duvet pulled up tight!) I think that some of this might have been to do with what seemed to be constant low-level air-conditioning, which I never worked out how to stop. Overall, though, I would recommend this hotel - just wish they'd get the details right!

“Satisfied”

Quite a convenient and pleasant location. Hotel was definitely more of a 4 star, rather than a five star but decent enough. Free wifi/internet access was good to have.
