"First of all, you get what you pay for, and for the price this property is excellent! Careful though, the restaurant and bar we thought we'd signed up for wasn't available. However, the nearby town of Cēsis is a must see, with great restaurants. Special shout out to Santa, the overnight keeper of the gate during our stay. "

"It was minus 21 degrees C, and I was worried the hotel would be cold, but it was really toasty, with heat coming through the radiator and floor throughout the night. The hotel is in a great location, with nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops on the doorstep. You could also get free water and coffee from reception, and the receptionists were lovely. The building and rooms looked cool in a traditional way, although our bathroom tiles were loose. It was 25 minutes walk to the old town."

"An excellent place to stay in Riga whether for work or pleasure. It was centrally located with easy access to m ass transportation and the center. The staff was friendly and helpful and the property was in excellent condition. I was pleased with everything."

"This is an older hotel property close to Riga airport and the highway to the city. It has an on-site restaurant and an always-on free coffee machine, but there is little else in the immediate area. Friendly staff and free on-site parking, so good value for money for a short stay. "

"When we got to our ground floor room it was like a sauna. The room was at the corner of the building with two windows. The thin net like curtains had been closed but not the blinds and therefore the sun had been shining into the room for the whole afternoon. The room and the bathroom were both very small - room cramped by 3rd bed we had not requested and tiny shower. There was no air-conditioning in the room and only one of the windows opened.
