"Excellent value. Can’t beat location in center of historical center. Easy access to hop on/off bus, Uber, metro, or walking around. Older historical hotel with great terrace. Felt safe, although didn’t walk side streets at night. Daily cleaning, big room, in room safe. Only issue was slow draining water in shower but not really a problem for us. Lovely staff. Highly recommend."

"The Gumont staff was so nice and helpful. They left bottled water in our room along with wine glasses and wine from L.A. Cetto from Valle De Guadalupe. They also daily buffet with made to order chilaquiles (red, green, chipotle or house), fresh bread, pastries, fresh fruit, made to order waffles and fresh squeezed juices. Also they have a rooftop wine, cocktail and pizza bar on the rooftop which opens at 7 p.m. "

"It was Great to stay there but if you have issues with noise, please ask them to put you at opposite end of the entrance. You are right next to a major highway and it is noisy and the room shakes 24/7. "
