I loved this hotel! It is very small, with I believe only 3 rooms, so be sure to book well in advance. We stayed in the "Casita" which I would highly recommend. It was beautifully decorated and had a large living room/bedroom area, plus a very well-organized kitchen and eating bar. The shower was great, with lots of hot water and beautiful tiles. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a Mexican hotel! Also, they have Apple TV so I was able to watch the Canadian men's and women's hockey finals which was awesome. The grounds are meticulously maintained, with beautiful statutes, fountains, foliage and a small pool. When you step through the gate into the hotel courtyard it is like entering an oasis!
Every member of the staff is professional, courteous and friendly. Our room was quite spacious for two. We even had a patio with a table and chairs. It was nice to sit outside in the afternoons. The hotel is locked at all times so the person at the desk asks who you are and buzzes you in. It feels very secure. The continental breakfast included fresh fruit, orange juice, fresh warm muffins and coffee or tea. Tlaquepaque is a geat place to visit for a few days. We have been there several times, but this was the first time we stayed at this hotel. We would return.

I had recently stayed in this hotel for a weekend to visit my nephew who is studying in Guadalajara. I was traveling northern Mexico on business and wanted a hotel that would be safe and close to the universities.
This hotel only has a few rooms ( I think around 7 rooms) and I felt that the staff monitored everyone entering and leaving making me feel security was well sorted.
The restaurant at the front of the hotel served great food at reasonable pricing.
With clean and comfortable bed I would stay here again.
The Team members of the hotel were very polite and very nice at the moment for assistance, Rooms were very clean and in a very good condition, the hotel is all renewd on the inside nice bathrooms, hot showers, flat tv with cable. the food is very traditional and very nice, if you want more from the breakfast just pay an aditional $2 to $4 USD. The BAD thing is is kind of noisy because maybe the structure of the building but overall the rest is Great.
Parking in lower level of hotel (clean and floor was tiled)
Hotel restaurant was ok
Not a great location, but a few blocks away from plaza/museum/etc...
Laundry was expensive. (fill out form and write down exactly what is being turned it for laundry)
