“Was very nice”

“zero privacy”

hotel was ok. but too noisy, you can hear "everything" from the other rooms, I dont know how can they have rooms like that, has to be all about privacy.

“Great hotel at a great price”

The rooms are big, nicely furnished, clean. They look recently redone. The restaurant is very good, but no alcohol is served. Room service is available but limited. On a busy street, but that didn't matter much. About 3 blocks to Plaza del Sol, a big shopping area. In the same neighborhood as many high end hotels, but at about 1/4 of the price. Very well worth it, I will go back next year.

“Overall satisfied”

The only complaints I have about this hotel is that the walls are hollw and you can hear everything from the other rooms. I also didn't like that fact that they allow pactices and loud music (chearleading turnament or something)at 8am in the courtyard which was next to our room. They should also have security once in a while walk through the hallways to make sure the guests are not braking the rules. There were guests talking really loud in the hallway outside of our room around 3 or 4am and smoking. All of the cigarette smoke got into our room. My husband had to put towels to cover the crack underneath the door. I guess I could of called the front desk and would have solved that problem!

“Good price BUT not good Customer Sevice.”

Not good Customer Service, but if you're in a budget this is the hotel to go to. It's very close to a mall (walking distance). They have a pool that they rarely clean and food that is expensive. I would go back ONLY if it was the same price as we paid or less. We literally just slept there and were out and about all day.

Area recommendations
Plaza del Sol is very close. It has a big store called Soriana (like a Walmart) where you can buy anything at decent prices. Downtown Guadalajara is very nice, an all day walking experience. La Gran Plaza is a beautiful and newly renovated shopping mall. Tlaquepaque is a neighborhood that is far but worth it. It has a big Cantina like place called El Parian where you can enjoy a nice traditional Mexican meal with some good Tequila (try the "Cazuelas" drink at this place....really good!)
When to go
If you mind heavy rain with thunderstorms, don't go during the months of July, August and sept.
