"This hotel is situated near very nicely in Chiang"
I enjoyed the stay in this moist lovely new build with minimalist lines and feeling, but with wonderful comfort and cleanliness. The staff were so very friendly and patient and kind. The bed was so comfortable and the appointment of the rooms was so simplistic and comfortable in an understated way. It is situated in a very lovely area with key buildings from resort Chiang Mai.
Great location, near all the temples and local sights. Right on the east edge of the wall/moat of the old city. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. Only downside if the typical high internet costs for Thailand's hotels.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in a Grand Deluxe Room situated on the top floor (4th level) and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful with the rooms comfortable and well equipped. The bed was abit hard but I still found it comfortable. The hotel is located in an excellent position with the night markets, Sunday walking market, restaurants, bars and massage places all within an easy walking distance. Whilst the hotel is situated close to everything it was very peaceful which was great after a busy day / night. The pool although very small was good to cool down and happy hour each afternoon was great. Breakfast was also nice with a lot of choices including a fresh agg station. Overall I was very happy with this hotel and would recommend.
For £20 a night this hotel is amazing- big rooms, complimentary drinks and nibbles, clean and quite. The breakfast was just what you needed. Only downside was the sauna and stream room, but its hot enough anyway. Close to the night bazaa as well.
We love staying here. Centrally located in Chang Mai and an easy walk or tuk tuk to everything. Very modern styling and a quiet location tucked down a small soi. Staff is nice but could be more helpful. They were not able to answer basic questions like what the price for a tuk tuk should be to the night market. While this is minor it would enhance peoples experience if they were able to help with small questions like this. Rooms are very nice and modern. Breakfast is included though we never tried it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Suriwongse Hotel was recommended to us by a friend, and I'm glad he did. The location is excellent for easy access to the night market and restaurants in that area. My friend and I had the chance to stay in three different rooms at the hotel after returning from our stay in Chiang Rai and at Baan Chang Elephant Park. If you do decide to stay at this hotel, definitely upgrade to the Premier Deluxe room, for just a little more, you get newly renovated room with better interior decoration and electronic keycard for security. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. During my short one-night stay, the manager kindly upgraded my superior room to the family suite. The room was nice, but still couldn't beat the Premier Deluxe.
One complain though with the family suite, the door between the adjoining rooms isn't secured enough. I was staying in the room alone, and the guest next door tried to open the connecting door. I hope this issue gets corrected soon.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel after spending a few days in Bangkok. When we arrived we were knackered as we got the sleeper train up all the way, immediately the staff made us feel really welcome and ever though we couldn't checked into our room until 2pm it was still absolutely fine. They have a really nice coffee shop next door where we chilled out until our room was ready.
The room it's self was fairly basic however it was really clean and to be honest we were literally only in there to sleep so it didn't really matter. We both had spa treatments which were also good, they did a two for one offer for us as well.
They pool areas are beautiful as well, only down side was they were freezing.
The girls that work on reception were really helpful with everything, they booked pretty much everything for us and anything that needed translating, they just did it.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel, I'm a pretty demanding person and it lived up to all my expectations!!
