The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It is very quiet at night and yet there are lots of restaurants nearby. East walking all around the old city. Only thing I noticed was the thin doors and the loud lock noises. That was the only thing of note, we are deep sleepers so it wasn’t a problem in the night but heard in the mornings and at night. The pool facility was nice and enjoyable after long days out around the city. The aesthetics were awesome, breakfast was great , and it was close to many shops, cafes, restaurants and temples (wats) etc. The room was very spacious and comfortable, however my only gripe was that the walls were so paper thin with no insulation or soundproofing, so you can hear everything in the next room, plus what is going on outside near the pool. Unfortunately the walls were very thin and we could hear every noise from the outside (during our stay the hotel was besieged by a group of rude tourists who made noise all night long and none of the staff ever said or did anything). The first night we stayed in building A. It is the older building. We were on the second floor and the smoking area was right outside our window. Our room smelled of smoke. People were outside chatting in the smoking area until 3:30 am. We asked to change rooms and they were very accommodating. We were moved in Building B the new building. It was such an improvement and we enjoyed the rest of our stay there.
